With her partner in crime (literally and figuratively), Clemence her BFF, work many less than legal operations; but is she willing to continuing to walk the thin line with the law? Member's current mark, Meridian, a very handsome, rich man with many jewels, is her ticket out of her current life. Clemency has a plan for 'his' Ember, she is his paycheck, and if he has to put her in harm's way he will. Can Ember better herself or continue in Clemence's web?
Meridian is a wealthy bachelor, that is looking for more to life, than a willing woman in his bed, something more meaningful with a woman that can see him for more than his wealth and ultimately his hidden self. He wants a mate with more permanence, but he has such a horrible records with the finer sex, until he sees Ember.
