In this Mature Contemporary Romance, A.M. Willard brings you the second installment of the Chances Series for the continuation of Tabitha and Carter’s story.

Change: It’s something that comes with the seasons, life, and love.

Tabitha has convinced herself that love isn’t worthy of change—it’s only for the people around her, as she watches from the sidelines. The former glitter queen has turned dark and grey, even though she still holds a glimmer of light for the chance at love.

Both Carter and Tabitha are on a journey for the change they desire, but is it too late to reconcile a love they both deserve?

Lives will change as secrets are revealed, and trust is rebuilt within two hearts that were once melded as one.

In this Mature Contemporary Romance novel, A.M. Willard brings you the first installment of the Chances Series.
We introduce you to Tabitha Michaelson, the fun loving, sassy girl who loves anything that sparkles. What you might not know is; she took an oath years ago with her brother Seth, vowing to lock their hearts and throw away the key. Years have been spent as she kept up the happy façade and not letting anyone get close enough for love.
It’s not until that chance meeting when Tabitha meets her match Carter Northwood.
Here’s a man that’s life has been filled with lies, threats, and tangled webs of disaster. Carter knows that if he takes this chance at true love, the world around him will falter down like a spiral staircase.
Two hearts mended to form a single beat from the start. A test of trust, infinite love, and a longing for each other’s passion.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I have to say, that reading A.M. Willard book, was awesome. As my son tells me, Straight up AWESOME SAUCE! Her writing is so well done, that the reader will feel each emotion, experience all the characters frustrations, and of course, those small precious victories within it. I do not hand out 5 star reviews every-time, I do truly base it on: does the author draw me in? When breaks are taken, am I still thinking about the story? And is there a yell factor? (My yell factor is essentially me yelling some obscenity or surprise at a turn of events or in conclusion of the books.) If an author can get me to physically get me to respond, you got my star vote. Granted there were times, I was beyond frustrated from the characters, but it was worth it.

Within this tale, we meet Tabitha Jean Michaelson, an independent woman, but oh so broken in spirit. She has allowed a "Richard"-Head to crush her spirit, and in her healing process she has shut her heart off to everyone. Aside from her brother and immediate best friends, Tabitha keeps any and all other persons at arm length from her so she is not affected by them. Until she is shocked from open her eyes on a Video Conference call with a new potential client. Those blue eyes were so intense and just drew her into this entirely too good to be true, Carter Northwood.

Carter Northwood, architect and business mogul, has an issue with pulling clientele into one of his condo complexes; and on recommendation of his board of directors he pulls in the help of SHI an image improvement company. To start the ball rolling, he had to completed an initial video conference interview. When Carter signed into the server, to find what his eyes saw of this beautiful vixen on the other end, he was done for! Can Carter keep his dark past from touching this beautiful vixen and calls to his soul? Can it be true love at first sight?

The book is very entertaining and pulling, but does have its dark side. I do recommend to my friends to read it. Loved it. I can't wait to start the next one!

Okay! Amazing Sauce, doesn't cut it! I {HEART} A.M. Willard!!! She blew me away with the first book, and she just kept topping off my tank with this sip of extra cool water! Her writing style is great and so intense, that like I said before, it just draws you in. I love and hated a lot of the characters. But this was a great second book to the Unexpected Series! although, it was very hard to like the antagonist from the first book, even if that person had a change of heart. It just seemed too easy! But whatever, I loved this book anyways.

Within this tale, we continue with the destined love story of Tabitha Jean Michaelson and Carter Northwood. Both have their dark and dreaded past, Carter more so than Tabitha. But how can you stay away from what your heart yearns for the most? How can one bright light be so bad for you? I don't want to give to many details out, but just know there is a great H.E.A. within the book. And I cannot wait for the next story.

I loved Tabitha's spunkiness, but there were definite times I wanted to reach within the book and strangle her! And O.M.G., your belly will hurt from laughing so hard from her ridiculous antics! And Poor Carter! He has to learn how to be open with her closed door of a heart, and how to draw her in, plus tame his wild Tabby Cat.

Great Book, when's the next?!
